Dubai Horse Racing Festival 2014 - Ihtimal A Red-Hot Favourite For Group Three At Meydan
Saeed bin Suroor's Ihtimal was a superb winner of the UAE 1000 Guineas a few weeks ago and the Godolphin raider will bid for more success at Meydan on Thursday and will be sent off a short-priced favourite for the UAE Oaks at 4:25pm.
She will have some notable rivals in one of the feature events on the card and Mike De Kock's Mensoora should put up a huge challenge to Ihtimal, whilst the likes of Magrooma and Feedyah add decent depth to what is an intriguing contest on a stunning card.
Elsewhere, De Kock's Wednaan will be another fancied performer in the Meydan Classic at 3:50pm, whilst Mushreq will be representing the legendary handler in the Group Two Zabeel Mile at 5:00pm, but there will be a strong British challenge with David Simcock's Trade Storm and Richard Fahey's Gabrial a couple of exciting contenders for the prestigious prize.
